CHO Products:
Mobius Microsystems’ CMOS Harmonic Oscillator™ (CHO) product is an accurate, self-referenced frequency source that is implemented entirely in standard CMOS. The product uses an all-CMOS harmonic (LC) oscillator design that achieves very low frequency drift over all environmental conditions without requiring any type of mechanical resonator structure.
The key innovation that Mobius brings to market is a complex analog control circuitry that compensates for process, voltage and temperature variations to stabilize the oscillating frequency of the CMOS harmonic oscillator with sufficient accuracy in the open-loop configuration. The technology enables CHO to support many common consumer electronics and storage system interfaces, and eliminates crystal oscillators from today’s designs.
CHO frequency sources are easy-to-use and designed to offer accurate clock signals with excellent phase noise and jitter. Mobius offers a broad selection of oscillator options in various output frequencies for many interface standards:
