Mobius QFNCHO Products:

Mobius Microsystems implements accurate timing generators in standard CMOS. Mobius’ patented CMOS Harmonic Oscillator (CHOTM) eliminates quartz crystals and PLL ICs, and enables designers to create robust products with higher frequencies and thinner profiles.

CHO is the most accurate CMOS resonator ever built. The product achieves very low frequency drift over all environmental conditions without requiring any type of mechanical resonator. The technology is proven to meet the requirements of USB (500ppm) and S-ATA (350ppm) interfaces.

MM8xxx-EV evaluation kits demonstrate the performance and functionality of Mobius Microsystems’ products, which utilize the patented CHO (CMOS Harmonic Oscillator) technology.

The evaluation kit requires no external components for programming and setup. Power supply and ground connections are sufficient to enable the device and configure it in the normal mode of operation where the CHO output is provided in the measurement points indicated.  An SMA-type connector is added to connect the board directly to an oscilloscope when an active probe is not available.
