Engineering

Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

Location

Mobius maintains design centers in both Ann Arbor, MI and Sunnyvale, CA.
This position is to be filled in Sunnyvale.

Technology

Mobius' core competency is in precision analog/RF IC design along with the mixed-signal and custom digital logic required to support such designs. The successful candidate will become a key contributor to our innovative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible for high quality design, revision, optimization and verification of analog/RF CMOS ICs.
Additional effort includes working with product and test engineers to determine and implement optimal silicon characterization and production test protocols.

Values

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, stimulating organization and enjoy tackling the complex engineering challenges associated with precision analog IC design. A positive attitude, the ability to work effectively on a team and the ability to contribute immediately to existing design efforts are critical. The successful candidate should also possess an ability to contribute broadly in areas including test, customer support and IP development, to name a few.

Requirements

A minimum of an M.S. in electrical engineering and 5+ years of professional analog/RF IC design are needed. A Ph.D. in electrical engineering is desired. Strong academic credentials are also preferred. The candidate will have experience designing precision analog/RF CMOS ICs such as bandgaps, LDOs, temperature sensors, low noise op-amps, op-amp based control loops and circuits, oscillators (LC, RC, or ring), I/O or phase-locked loops (PLLs).

It is expected that the successful candidate can demonstrate strong communication and computing skills. Experience characterizing CMOS components with time and frequency domain measurement systems including phase noise analyzers, spectrum analyzers and digital sampling and real-time oscilloscopes is also useful.
